Hangzhou is the capital of Zhejiang
province. With its famous natural beauty and culture heritages, Hangzhou is one
of the most important tourist venues in China. It lies on the lover reaches of
the Qiantang River and is the southern end of the 1,794-kilometer-long Grand
Canal (Beijing-Hangzhou Canal).
